Privacy Policy

Quit Drinking is an app by NNtrApps. The short version: everything you log stays on your phone.
What the app stores
Quit Drinking saves your sober start date, drinking and spending before you quit, your reasons and triggers, daily pledges and check-ins, cravings and slips you log, and your reminder settings. All of it stays in the app's private storage on your phone. We never receive it, because Quit Drinking has no servers and no accounts.
What we don't do
Quit Drinking has no sign-up, no analytics, no tracking and no ads. We don't sell or share information, and the app doesn't send what you log over the internet.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase go through Google Play. Google handles payment details under the Google Privacy Policy. The app only learns the status of your purchase, such as whether a subscription is active, so it can unlock features. Google Play's billing library, which the app uses to talk to Google Play, may send technical diagnostics to Google under that same policy.
Reminders
Reminders are scheduled on your phone. Android asks your permission before the app can show notifications, and you can turn reminders off in the app or in Android settings.
Device backup
If Android backup is on for your Google account, Android may include Quit Drinking's data in your phone's backup, stored in your Google account under Google's terms. That is how your history can come back on a new phone. You can turn backup off in Android settings.
Sensitive information
Some of what you log may be health information. Since it never leaves your phone, we have no way to access, use or disclose it.
Deleting your data
Use Settings > Reset all data in the app, or uninstall it. Uninstalling removes everything it stored on the phone.
Children
Quit Drinking is meant for adults (18 and over) and is not directed to children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
